Fonts and colors for Redondo Beach! We opted for a clean and classic sans serif that is open sourced (easy use through out the cities departments and employees) and a fun accent with non other than Redondo Ave. by Hoodzpah Design!
Redondo Beach is getting a splash of color! Our new brand palette is bold, nautical, and oh-so-beachy. Think pacific inspired blues, sun-kissed yellows, ah-inspiring sunsets hues, and classic Seahawk red. Stay tuned to see how we`ve brought these colors to life!
Redondo Beach style, with a twist! We`ve designed a custom checkered pattern that`s a nod to the California classic Vans Checkered shoe, but with a unique Redondo Beach flavor.
Have you spotted Redondo Beach`s new logo around town? It`s popping up in all the right places!
Have you spotted any new street signs yet?! The first time I saw one in real life I had to do a double take then wanted to pinch myself... So many ups and downs on this project and I wasn`t sure it would see the light of day. It still feels like a dream that is in use.
Redondo Beach`s city departments are getting an update to their headwear! Part of why I felt so passionately that this logo was the best option for the city was its versatility. It is simple enough to be adaptable by multiple departments and still be recognizable as a unifying mark amongst the city.

Working on the Redondo Beach logo project I was faced with wanting to create something that felt fun and beachy... like something I would want to wear on trucker hat... and needing to create something that could be taken serious enough to represent a city in a professional capacity. The work around was 2 versions... the formal professional with clean lines, and this fun vintage beachy version!
