Torrance Tavern, a beloved local establishment, recently celebrated 10 years of serving the community. We were tasked with redesigning their space and brand to properly pay homage to the home town and create a space where you can root for the home team.

The Problem
While named after the city, Torrance Tavern didn’t fully capitalize on its location within a vibrant sports community. With five local high schools and a strong following for LA’s professional teams, the tavern had the potential to be a true hometown hub. However, its current decor and branding was disjointed and lacked a clear identity, preventing it from truly telling the story of Torrance.
How We Helped
We helped Torrance Tavern rediscover its identity by refreshing its brand to equally emphasize both “Torrance” and “Tavern.” This involved creating a versatile color palette that complements the local high schools and LA sports teams, ensuring a cohesive and vibrant atmosphere. To truly capture the spirit of the city, we carefully curated every piece of wall art, showcasing historical moments, local landmarks, and iconic sports memorabilia.
The Results
The revitalized Torrance Tavern offers a unique experience where guests can immerse themselves in the city’s history and sports culture. With walls dedicated to both local memories and iconic LA sports moments, the tavern has become a destination for celebrating everything Torrance.
