I was born in the South Bay and raised in Torrance… I even had my 21st birthday at this bar… of course it wasn’t Torrance Tavern then.. but after being in business for 10 years, I was brought on board to revamp the branding on everything from logo to the interior and it was so fun to create a space to celebrate our home town and cheer for the home team ☺️

What an honor it was to work on this project for @torrancetavern … this was a rebrand that took me out of logo land and into the physical space of the brand and I loved every minute of it! I will be the first to admit, growing up I called it Borrance and wanted to live in a big city 😂… but my views have changed and I freaking love Torrance! It’s home and it was so fun to build a place to celebrate our home teams and home town hero’s! It was a journey down memory lane looking at establishments that are no longer… when you have lived somewhere for your whole life it’s easy to not notice the change. I loved finding old post cards and match books from old bars and restaurants in Torrance to adorn the walls.
